Stone Brewing Co. is unleashing the second round of Stone Enjoy By IPA to Colorado and Ohio: Stone Enjoy By 11.09.12 IPA. Like its predecessor (Stone Enjoy By 09.21.12 IPA), Stone Enjoy By 11.09.12 IPA is devastatingly fresh. Yes, devastatingly. Why? It is specifically brewed NOT to last. This amazingly fresh double IPA is loaded with hops, 11 different varieties, to be exact, giving the beer a massive hop profile and a balanced palate of bitterness and dryness.

Rumors have been buzzing the internet with news that Stone Brewing Co. beers would soon be available in Iowa, and that is indeed happening come October 1. Stone, which is known for its bold, flavorful and hop-centric beers, will be distributed throughout the Hawkeye state thanks to Doll Distributing in Des Moines, Council Bluffs, and Spencer; Fahr Beverage in Waterloo; and Fleck Sales Company in Cedar Rapids and West Burlington. Stone CEO and co-founder Greg Koch is a sucker for a grandiose entrance, and the lineup of Iowa events will be no exception. October 2 through 6 will be filled with tap takeovers, special release beers, festivals, and meet & greets with Greg and Stone representatives.
Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Achieves SITES Certification

The Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) has announced Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens in Escondido, Calif. as one of eight projects that have recently achieved certification under the nations most comprehensive rating system for the sustainable design, construction and maintenance of built landscapes. These projects, as part of a group of 150 projects participating in an extensive, two-year pilot program, have applied the SITES guidelines and met the requirements for certification. Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens is just one of two projects in California, and one of just 11 total projects worldwide to attain this important new certification.
Stone Donates More Than $115,000 to Waterbury, Vt. for Recovery Efforts

Stone Brewing Co. has donated $86,373.61 to ReBuild Waterbury and $30,000 to Waterbury Good Neighbor Fund for efforts to restore Waterbury, Vt., a community that was damaged by Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. The proceeds are from the sale of the collaboration beer, The Alchemist / Ninkasi / Stone More Brown Than Black IPA, brewed in December 2011 with Ninkasi Brewing Company in Eugene, Ore. and The Alchemist Pub and Brewery in Waterbury. The beer was sold in 17 states, including Vermont.

Today, Stone is releasing Stone 16th Anniversary IPA, a pale amber IPA with lemon verbena, lemon oil, and a variety of unique hops that give the beer a bitter and citrusy finish. Stone's anniversary bash, the Stone 16th Anniversary Celebration & Invitational Beer Festival, is August 17 and 18 at the California State University San Marcos grounds.

Score one...or four that is, for Stone fans. Beginning this week, Stone Brewing Co. is offering Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale, the most popular Black IPA on beeradvocate.com, in packs of four 12-ounce bottles. Previously, the deep-black-yet-amazingly-hoppy beer was only available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft. Stone Ruination IPA and OAKED Arrogant Bastard Ale will also be offered in four-packs.
