Stone Brewing Co. is collaborating with famed East Coast craft brewers Dogfish Head Craft Brewery of Milton, DE, and Victory Brewing Company of Downington, PA to brew Saison du BUFF, an utterly unique Belgian-style farmhouse ale featuring parsely, sage, rosemary, and thyme.

The Stone Brewing Co. is releasing a four-part web documentary on the brewery’s international collaborations. It follows Stone Co-Founders Greg Koch and Steve Wagner, and Head Brewer Mitch Steele on their 2009 trip to Norway and Scotland.

The San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) chose the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens for their highest honor at their 2009 Design Awards program.

Known as the bigger, meaner brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale is an aggressively hopped, intensely malty American Strong Ale that will send fizzy yellow beer drinkers running for the hills.

Beer emerged victorious in the third and final Beer vs. Wine Dinner at Rancho Bernardo Inn's acclaimed El Bizcocho restaurant on October 16, 2009. The competition was so fierce in this tie-breaker food pairing showdown that the ballots had to be recounted twice, but it was eventually determined that Beer won by one single vote.

Stone Brewing Co., BeerAdvocate's "All-Time Top Brewery on Planet Earth," began distributing in Connecticut on September 22, 2009, and will begin distributing in Louisiana on October 20, 2009. With the addition of these two states, Stone's beer will be available in a total of 33 states.

The eighth installment in our Belgian-inspired Vertical Epic Ale series, Stone 09.09.09 Vertical Epic Ale, is a Belgian porter brewed with dark candi sugar, chocolate malt, tangerine peel, vanilla beans, and aged on French oak.

Stone Brewing Co. revenue increased 30% and volume increased 24% in the first half of 2009.
