APPEARANCE:
Deep brown, black with dark tan foam that lingers nicely.
AROMA:
Strong roasted character with chocolate and coffee, and a trace of smoke. What complexity!
FLAVOR:
Very roasted! Bitter, full and sweet with a nice drying end. Nice hops in the background. Great roasted malt complexity – coffee and a bit of chocolate.
PALATE:
Full and sweet with a nice drying finish.
OVERALL:
Holding up fantastic…a wonderful, wonderful beer!

Beautiful…with ruddish-brownish-reddish edges.
AROMA:
no comment
FLAVOR:
Somewhere between wow and WOW.
PALATE:
no comment
OVERALL:
I keep tasting this beer with the intention of writing more notes, and I’m not writing the notes but instead just relaxing with the beer…

APPEARANCE:
Beautiful --- A wonderful stout black color with a dark tan head!
AROMA:
Roasted, coffee, toffee, chocolate, WOW, anise, and smoky.
FLAVOR:
Words can’t explain…chocolate, roasted coffee, smoke, licorice, insanely delicious, and a little burnt.
PALATE:
Silky, oily, fantastic!
OVERALL:
This beer is otherworldly!!

APPEARANCE:
Black as night, solid deep tan head, and lovely as ever!
AROMA:
Roasted malts, roasted coffee, toffee, chocolate, and more malt.
FLAVOR:
Big roasted quality, nice bitterness, alcohol, coffee, anise and just an amazing overall complexity.
PALATE:
Full bodied, and wraps the tongue with the most decadent flavors known to a beer.
OVERALL:
What can I say that hasn’t been said before --- possibly the best beer on the planet!
