APPEARANCE:
Deep golden, bright, white head --- very appealing |
AROMA:
Cloves, citrus peel, and spicy along with a trace graininess. The coriander starts coming out as the beer warms. |
FLAVOR:
Malty (a really nice malt character), more clove, spice, and fruit…complex. A bit sweet with some graininess on the finish. |
PALATE:
Full, very smooth, a nice lingering bitterness on the end. |
OVERALL:
Very nice and holding up fantastically! |

Bright and clear. |
AROMA:
It’s amazing how pungent it still is…not muted at all! |
FLAVOR:
Still really hoppy. Backnote of bubblegum, but without the bubblegum sweetness. |
PALATE:
Fresh and really zingy on the palate. Flavors approach all areas of the tongue simultaneously. |
OVERALL:
I still think this is one of the best beers we have ever brewed. |

APPEARANCE:
Golden yellow, small dense white head, light and bright. |
AROMA:
Yeast, clove, spices, bubblegum, pepper, and banana. |
FLAVOR:
Spicy but it’s hard to nail down the specific spice…very complex with a nice tartness. |
PALATE:
Medium bodied, crisp, and very vibrant on the tongue. Great lingering taste that makes you want more! |
OVERALL:
Five years? Wow! Still one of my favorites we’ve ever brewed, and it seems to only be getting better!! |

Touch of O2 (not bad), somewhat perfumy, clove, light citrus/grapefruit rind, and ever so slight caramelized bananas |
FLAVOR:
Light coriander and clove. |
PALATE:
Dry with a nice malt balance. |
OVERALL:
Very nice, the spice is holding up well but not overpowering. |
