2008 Stone DYE-HARDS for Charity!

1. Make The Commitment!
Make the commitment! You are agreeing to dye your hair blue no later than August 10th, 2008. You’ll be taking part in a proud and honorable Stone Brewing Co. tradition that has raised nearly $100,000 over the years!

2. Register As A Stone DYE-HARD
Once registered, you’ll receive a Stone DYE-HARD ID number and, with your consent, be listed as a participant on our website—this will allow folks all across the land to easily make pledges on your behalf. Remember, you MUST BE 21 or over to participate.

3. Start Raising Money!
Spread the word to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, passing acquaintances, old flames, etc. Let them know that you are part of a very cool campaign to raise funds and that they can conveniently pledge online. Since you can start collecting pledges before and/or after dyeing, be sure to emphasize the inherent entertainment value in seeing you with blue hair! (Viewable online for out-of-town pledgers.)

4. Dye that Hair!
You will need to have your hair dyed by the end of the day on Sunday, August 10th. Several local salons are stepping up and will be dyeing hair free of charge for DYE-HARDS who have raised more than $250. A list is viewable online.

5. Join the DYE-HARD

This year we are inviting all participants to gather at the Stone World Bistro & Gardens on Sunday, August 10th at 4PM for a group photo shoot and reception. As added incentive for attending, 25% of your tab at the Bistro that day will be added to your total as a pledge in your name!

6. Come To The Stone 12th Anniversary Celebration August 16th
(optional, but highly recommended!)
A great way to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Stone fans and DYE-HARDS do-gooders while sampling awesome beer! (We’d also love to get more photos of DYE-HARDS coming together.)
Be sure to get your tickets in advance!

7. Be Counted!
You have until Monday, September 2nd, 2008 to collect pledges, at which time they will be tallied over the following week. Prizes of $100 in credit at the Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens will be given for the highest amount of funds raised as well as for the most DYE-HARDS “recruited” by one person.
