ANOTHER YEAR,
ANOTHER SUCCESS!
The Stone 12th Anniversary Celebration was a great success! The Stone Crew, the Volunteers, the Guest Breweries and all you Beer Drinking Humanitarians helped crank this anniversary up to 12! To the right is a list of some businesses, organizations and people that need to be recognized for their generosity in lending their time, services and resources to make this event the best one yet. We couldn’t have pulled it off without them, so be sure to raise a toast to them.

We want your photos!
What a great day! Thanks to all of you for making it out to our 12th, and breaking in the new venue. Please send your photos along to art@stonebrew.com for us to add to the album we are creating. If you have a large amount, you can upload them via FTP (www.stonebrew.com L:twelve P:charity). We appreciate you sharing links to flickr or your own photo website, but don't have the time to download photos one by one from webpages - so sending the actual photos would be highly appreciated.
As always, we'd love to hear back any feedback you have (positive or constructive) on what you though of this year's Celebration. Please send along comments to email@stonebrew.com |

SPECIAL THANKS TO: |
Palomar Mountain Spring Water
For donating drinking water for the all-important hydration for Volunteers,
Team Stone and the Fest-goers!
Volunteers
Without the Volunteers, there couldn't be an event. They generously donated
their time, abilities and good cheer in the name of their charity causes and
great beer!
Team Stone
It was a required work day for the entire team. No beer drinking for us
during the celebration, true, but that's what it takes to put it on...so we
bit the bullet and made it happen. Thanks to Team Stone for setting aside
one of your favorite things to do -- enjoy great beer with friends -- on
behalf of the fest-goers and the charities!
The IMA
Institute of Management Accountants
For generously donating the expertise and the team to handle wristbands,
tickets and money at the front door!
The Society of Barley Engineers
For brewing and serving their homebrewed sodas during the event to make sure
that the non-alcoholic selections met high standards along with all the
amazing beers!
The Brewers, the Meadery,
and the Cidery
For donating all their wonderful artisanal beers, meads and ciders, and
providing the principle reason for all of us to get together in celebration
of their craft!
Our Food Vendors
For donating food for all the hardworking Stone Team and Volunteers to wolf
it down during the session break, and keep them fueled for the second half
of the event.
Vince Marsaglia,
the Onion Ring Man
Vince and his team sacrificed a days of work and pairs of shoes (see vBlog) to cut, batter, fry and serve 1,200 pounds of Arrogant Bastard Ale Onion Rings!
Beer Cheese Mike
For no personal gain, other than some well deserved fandom fame, Mike and
his group of volunteers spent hours and hours making, and serving the tasty
spreads known as Mike's Beer Cheese.
Beer Drinking Humanitarians
For all of the great fans of great beer --- YOU --- who shared part of their
day with us who used the great excuse of craft beer and cameraderie to plunk
down $30 towards our fine charitable causes. |

Brown Paper Tickets is an online fair trade ticketing service. They charge 99¢ for a printed ticket, plus 2.5% of the total ticket price. This means the total service charge on a $35 Anniversary ticket is only $1.87-and this includes shipping! Compare this to another, let's say "less endearing", ticketing company who charges you up to an additional 40% in their (in)convenience charges (and that's before they've pillaged you for shipping and processing fees) and you can see why we like using Brown Paper Tickets. As if Brown Paper Tickets weren't setting themselves apart enough, they actually donate a percentage of your purchase to a charity that you can choose at checkout. Think of them like the Stone Brewing Co. of the ticketing companies... they're not the size of the "big guy," but you get a warm feeling that things get a little more right with the world when you find them at your favorite places. |
